Maritime Cranes and Components Ltd was formed in December 2019, following the acquisition of the highly regarded Seward Wyon brand.
Having worked at Seward Wyon for in excess of 25 years as both Engineer and Director, Matt Chard founded Maritime Cranes and Components Ltd with a clear USP to support past and present customers with the same high quality and attention to detail that was synonymous with Seward Wyon. Having acquired the historical design and project information, Maritime Cranes and Components Ltd are able to provide spares, service, technical support and even complete re-builds of previous Seward Wyon projects. Our vast archive system includes original copies of project drawings, reports, structural designs, manufacturing record books and further technical data.
In keeping with the Seward Wyon prominence within the port engineering industry, Maritime Cranes and Components are pleased to maintain the longstanding partnership with NDC Cranes as UK and Ireland sales and support partner. In addition, we have also partnered with Brelx brakes, and sfPORTEQ spreaders, two dynamic manufacturers of high-quality port equipment that challenge the industry leaders with innovative design and flexible approach to customer requirements.
